ArchMonastery 4, Nalanda
A cleanly-executed corbeled arch, consisting of overlapping courses of brick, frames a small through-and-through piercing of the monastery wall. The sides of the passage are slightly, but noticeably, concave.It's hard to know if this was its original shape, or the fancy of a modern restorer.
