Muttukkadu beach-Kanchipuram

Muttukkadu is an ideal picnic spot in Kanchipuram. Wind Surfing, Canoe, Kayak, Pedal Boat, Row Boat etc., are available for the public. It is located at a distance of 80 Kms from Kanchipuram, and is a good place to get away for a day. The backwaters of Muttukkadu have been developed by the Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation to serve as a picnic spot and a centre for water sports. Training and demonstration programmes are organised for beginners.
